Northpoint Washington is an organization dedicated to helping people overcome their addictions to drugs or alcohol. Our beautiful facility is located in Seattle, and is equipped with the staff and programs needed to turn your addiction from disaster into a success story. We have separate programs for drug and alcohol addiction, each of which concentrates on the nuances of that addiction in specific. If you need an inpatient drug or alcohol rehab program, Northpoint Washington may indeed be the best answer.
Alcohol Rehab
One of the most uncomfortable feelings you can experience is ridding your body of its dependency on alcohol. As such, our personalized alcohol rehab program begins with a detox period, which lasts a total of seven days. Once your body has made the adjustment, the lessons learned in the remaining rehab portion of the program can be absorbed without the discomfort of drying out.
Drug Rehab
Adjusting your body to an absence of drugs can be as bad, or even worse at times, than doing so with alcohol. Our program begins with this detox process, and may require medicated detox depending on what your drug of choice is and how often it is taken. The successful completion of detox means you are ready to move on to the rehab portion of the program. The lessons and skills learned during the remaining three weeks will help and stay with you for the rest of your life.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs)
Not everyone can make a commitment to attend inpatient rehab. When they cannot, they can easily feel as though there is no hope for their recovery. We want you to know that this is not true at all. In fact, attending an intensive outpatient treatment program, or IOP, can be just as effective.
Our IOP offers a very high level of care for those who may be new to recovery. It requires regular attendance during the program, which often runs during the evening hours, Monday through Friday. There are those who may attend the program for only three nights, and those who need all five. Every person is an individual with unique needs.
Medical Detox
Prior to starting rehab, many people need to go through the detoxification process as their first step. In most cases, this means being recommended for medical detox. This is a type of addiction treatment that allows people to take medications to help with their withdrawal symptoms. It is considered a very important step that should not be skipped under any circumstances. For many types of addictions it is required.
