Narcotics Anonymous is another fantastic support group. This organization holds free meetings for drug addicts. In these meetings, addicts get together to help each other through the recovery process.
NA is open to all kinds of addicts. They do not hold any biases against certain drugs. They accept everyone from marijuana addicts to prescription drug addicts to heroin and crystal meth addicts. As long as you have a strong desire to get sober, the group welcomes you with open arms.

Al-Anon is a support group for family members and friends of addicts. This organization holds free meetings for the spouses, children, parents, and siblings of drug addicts and alcoholics.
In these meetings, family members discuss how their life is affected by their loved one’s condition. For many people, it’s helpful to see that they aren’t alone. Loving an addict is hard, so it helps to have a safe place to talk.
