Inpatient rehab requires you to stay in a residence. The programs last for a few weeks and you’ll immerse fully in your recovery. You are given treatment based on your specific needs, receiving therapy on a daily basis.
You can opt for PHP once you’ve completed rehab. You’ll stay in a sober living environment and attend therapy sessions throughout the week. You have flexibility but you’re in a supportive environment. These programs can be from 90-160 days.
An outpatient program will have you doing rehab while you stay at home. They are low-cost and flexible which can be helpful for some. If you feel you need more one-on-one therapy and higher quality care, there is the Intensive Outpatient Program. Your treatment is inpatient program quality but you’ll only attend the clinic for a few hours a day. They work around your schedule so you can continue on with your life.
Detox is the essential first step. It’s the process of getting the toxins out of the body which involves abstaining from substances. This can cause the body to go through withdrawal symptoms which is challenging to cope with. Professional detox gives you support and helps you with the discomfort. There are health risks for detoxing alone that professional detox can prevent. The process is 5-7 days on average.
It’s a 30-minute drive from Fife, WA to the Northpoint Seattle.
Fife AA and NA meetings are an integral part of your maintenance plan. You’ll get the support you need. Family support is available through Al-Anon.
