Addiction Rehab and Drug and Alcohol Recovery Resources for the Puyallup, Washington Area

The Puyallup, Washington area has many drug and alcohol addiction recovery resources for those who need them. It is possible to find several Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous meetings scheduled every week. There are even ways for families to get help through Al-Anon and Alateen. For addicts who need a higher level of care, a quality treatment program may be the answer they are looking for.

We understand how difficult it is to recover from an addiction. The above-mentioned programs are excellent, and while we are not affiliated with them, we still feel they are important. Below are lists of all of the local meetings.

Do You Have Questions About Addiction? Call Our Recovery Experts Now.

Is Addiction Treatment Necessary for Recovery?

Sometimes, even when a person wants a 12-Step program like AA or NA to work for them, they just don’t. There are some people who cannot begin recovery by getting peer support alone. They need a higher level of care. While this may not be true for everyone, it seems to be the case for the vast majority of people with addictions.

Drug and alcohol rehab provides the opportunity for people to work with professionals who understand the best ways to treat addictions. These are people who have spent years working in this field, and they have seen what works and what does not.

Most people – especially when they are new to recovery – will need to start by going to rehab. But eventually, they will be able to transition into AA or NA.

A search on the SAMHSA treatment locator shows that there are five alcohol and drug treatment programs in Puyallup. There are 40 of them within a 10-mile radius of the city.

While this does allow people to have a lot of choices, they should still exercise caution before making a commitment. Not every treatment program is beneficial, and they are not all the same. People need to choose carefully and find the one that meets their unique needs.

About Our Outpatient Program

For many people, our outpatient program offers them everything they need to stop using and begin recovering. We understand that people recover in many different ways, and that means varied approaches are necessary. That is why we offer traditional outpatient rehab, an intensive outpatient program and partial hospitalization. These various levels of care mean that just about anyone can find what will work for them.

Within our outpatient program, we offer a variety of services, such as:

Information for Those Seeking Inpatient Drug and Alcohol Rehab in Puyallup

Not everyone’s needs can be met through an outpatient program. That is why we also refer people to Northpoint Washington. They provide inpatient treatment, which is a higher level of care.

At Northpoint Washington, they offer treatment for both alcoholism and drug addiction. They have drug and alcohol detox in-house as well, so their patients can receive both types of treatment under the same roof.

Inpatient drug and alcohol rehab offers so much support, which many people need. We are fortunate to have this program in Bellevue, which is just over an hour away.

Will Health Insurance Cover the Cost of Addiction Treatment?

It is not uncommon for people to put off getting substance abuse treatment for financial reasons. Many do not realize that their health insurance has benefits to help cover the cost of both detox and rehab. We feel that it is important for as many people to know about this as possible.

Every health insurance plan is different, so people should expect their coverage to vary from what others have. Many plans will cover outpatient treatment in full, and they may require a co-pay when people choose to go to inpatient rehab. But even if they do, the amount should be very small.

Recovering from an addiction may be challenging, but when our clients no longer have to worry about the financial aspect, it makes it easier. Please do not let the cost of rehab deter you from getting the help you need.
