There are many different treatment options available. Also, Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous can be great resources. There are even ways for families and loved ones to get support and learn new coping skills through Al-Anon and Alateen.
These Sultan area addiction recovery resources are available to anyone who needs them. Please keep in mind that we are not affiliated with them at all, but we do believe in what they do.
There are several AA meetings that take place in the Sultan area on a weekly basis.

Families often do not know where to turn when they have a loved one who is an addict. Both Al-Anon and Alateen meetings can provide them with so much support. They can also learn more about addiction and how to be there for their family member. There are several weekly meetings that take place in the Sultan area.

While AA and NA meetings may work well for some, they are not the right solution for everyone with an addiction. There are a lot of people who need professional treatment, and this is even truer for those who are new to recovery.
It is important to talk with someone to determine which is the best course of action before making a decision. For those who need to consider rehab, it helps to know what to expect.
Medical detox is a form of detoxification that allows people to take medications to help with withdrawal symptoms. This should only ever be done on an inpatient basis because of the risk of complications that can occur during the detox process.
For many people, medical detox makes a huge difference in their long-term outcomes. Withdrawal symptoms can easily derail any quit, even when the person has the best of intentions. But the right medications can help.
Many people do not realize that outpatient rehabs can be just as effective as inpatient treatment. The fact is that not everyone is able to commit to going to an inpatient program. For those individuals, having a similar, outpatient option is vital for them to recover.
Outpatient rehab should include several different types of treatment, such as individual therapy and group therapy. The best programs are intensive because that is the level of care that is needed in most cases.
Northpoint Seattle is our closest rehab program to the Sultan area. We are located in Bellevue, Washington, which is only about 40 minutes away.
