Inpatient rehab is an excellent foundation for recovery. You stay in a residential setting for a few weeks receiving hours of treatment daily. They design programs for you after an assessment so you only get the treatment you need.
PHP is an option once you’ve completed rehab. You stay in a sober living environment and continue on with treatment in a clinic or hospital setting. It’s good for those with dual diagnosis or for someone who isn’t ready to go home.
Blaine outpatient programs give you the opportunity to maintain your life while getting treatment. They don’t offer a lot of one-one-one care and some people need more support while dealing with the initial stages of recovery. Intensive Outpatient Programs offer a greater level of care. You receive treatments at an addiction facility 3-5 times per week.
A detox program will be your first step in recovery. This is when you abstain from abusing substances from your body. This causes withdrawal symptoms that can be managed with holistic or medical detox. It should be done in a professional environment so you can be monitored and supported. The process usually takes 3-5 days.
It’s a 2 hour drive from Blaine to our Northpoint Seattle inpatient facility in Bellevue, WA.
After rehab, you’ll want to consider what your aftercare plan is. There might be therapists you can see occasionally. It’s recommended you attend AA and NA meetings in Blaine weekly also. Your family can also go to Al-Anon and Nar-Anon meetings.
