What you may not realize is there’s help available for you. It doesn’t matter what your financial situation is either. Due to the high addiction rate in the US, the government has made sure everyone can get the help they need. The opioid epidemic hit every community, which is why you can get various forms of addiction treatment throughout every state.
At this point, you might be thinking that you’re just stuck with your addiction. We want you to know that this is not true at all. In fact, there has never been more support for addiction recovery. No one ever has to be stuck with alcoholism or a drug addiction. There are multiple ways for you to get the recovery assistance you need, regardless of what you’re addicted to.
We’d like to offer you a complete alcohol and drug rehab resource guide that will cover all the information you need. Maybe you’ve thought about going to rehab in Issaquah, but you weren’t sure how to get started. Or, it’s possible that you’ve been thinking about starting out with detox first. It could even be that you haven’t given any thought to professional treatment. Perhaps you’re more interested in other rehab resources. We’re here to give you everything you need to know when it comes to addiction treatment options in Issaquah.
Fortunately, there are plenty of community resources in Issaquah for drug addiction, substance abuse and alcoholism. It’s possible that you’re just not aware of what they are. However, when you’re in need of help for addiction, it’s just a phone call away.
Up until now, recovering might have seemed to be impossible for you. Maybe you’ve tried quitting drugs or alcohol before, but you couldn’t. You always just went right back to using again. Sadly, this is the way it goes for many people who try to quit on their own.
The fact is that you need all the support you can get during this important time. Addiction recovery is possible for you as long as don’t attempt it based on will power alone.
If you are abusing alcohol or drugs, but you’re not addicted, you should still consider alcohol or drug rehab. Allowing this behavior to continue isn’t going to help you at all. If you get help before your abuse turns into full blown addiction, it will be far easier to stop.
It’s best for you to speak with a counselor regarding your substance abuse problem. A therapist will talk you through everything that’s going on in your life. They can help you discover why you feel the need to use. They can also help you stop before it’s too late and you’re already addicted.
There are several therapists who specialize in treating substance abuse in Issaquah, WA.
Sometimes people assume that you have to pay a lot of money to get help for addiction. That’s simply not true. Your community has a lot of low cost and even free alcohol and drug addiction resources. Let’s talk about the different options you have available to you.
Narcotics Anonymous is an organization that was set up as a way to help drug addicts recover. They follow the 12 Steps of Recovery, which you may be familiar with. The program is designed in a group therapy format, and meetings are held on a weekly basis.
NA has been instrumental in the lives of many people with drug addictions. Sometimes alcoholics will even attend NA meetings because they prefer them over AA. If you’re a drug addict, this might be something that you will want to consider for yourself.
You can easily find many Issaquah NA meetings located near your home. You’ll also find several in the surrounding cities. Here are just a few that you may want to consider:

Alcoholics Anonymous was the first major support group organization in the United States. They got their beginning in 1935, and have remained a strong support for recovering alcoholics since then.
Like NA, AA meetings follow the 12 Step method of recovery. Groups meet once a week, and members are encouraged to attend more often. In fact, many times alcoholics are encouraged to attend a meeting a day for the first 60 days. The more time they can spend around other likeminded people, the better.
So many people have been able to successfully stop drinking with the help of AA. This is certainly something you should consider if you’re an alcoholic. It’s very beneficial to meet and connect with other alcoholics. They know the challenges you’re facing.
You can find several AA meetings in Issaquah. They’re happening every day of the week, and at various times. This makes it easy to find the one that will be most convenient for you.

You can find so many resources for addiction recovery in Issaquah, Washington. Please, don’t give up hope. The right type of treatment is out there and available for you.
When you begin your recovery from alcoholism, detoxing should be your very first step. This may be a newer concept to you because you thought that alcohol rehab would be all you’d need. The truth is that alcohol is a very serious drug that is often not taken seriously enough. If you don’t quit drinking the right way, you could suffer from medical complications. Alcohol detox will help you to avoid them.
Alcohol detox is a place alcoholics can go when they’re ready to stop drinking. In general, you’re advised not to try to quit before you go into the center. This could put you into withdrawals before you get the help you need.
If you’re like many people, you wonder what you can expect when going to an alcohol detox program in Issaquah. You may feel nervous because you’ve never been in professional treatment before. You should know that this is normal.
Going to professional detox ensures you’re given the necessary support. There are health risks involved with detoxing, which is why you’ll be monitored 24/7. The staff will make you feel comfortable, and they’ll explain every step of the process. Your doctor will go over the type of treatment they’re prescribing for you. The goal is to help your body process the toxins from the alcohol correctly and quickly. This will help you get past the withdrawal stage faster, so you can start focusing on alcohol rehab.
You also may be wondering, what is alcohol withdrawal?. The withdrawal symptoms of alcohol occur because your body starts missing its presence.
This might seem counterintuitive because you know you shouldn’t be drinking excessively. However, the human body is very adaptable. When you started drinking, your brain had to adapt to that. The same is true when you stop.
You may experience anything from mild alcohol withdrawal symptoms to more severe symptoms. Based on your medical and addiction history, the staff can tell you what you can expect. However, even if you’ve quit drinking before, it’s not always easy to tell what this time will be like. Your alcohol detox symptoms are likely to be much different.
When it comes to the symptoms of alcohol withdrawal, there are health risks with death being one of them. This is why it’s so important to get professional help when you’re ready to stop drinking. Sometimes symptoms can become very severe, and they will require immediate medical intervention. We’ll talk more in just a moment about what that could mean for you.
When you go to a professional alcohol detox center, you can get help with these symptoms. More often than not, people who quit drinking on their own are tempted to return to it. This happens because they’re not able to manage their symptoms well. They are uncomfortable and the cravings can be extreme. The temptation to drink again just becomes too great.
Remember, when you suffer from alcoholism, you have an addiction to alcohol. This is a disease, and like other diseases, it’s best that it’s treated professionally.
Most people are curious about the alcohol withdrawal timeframe. They know that they’re going to experience a difficult time, and they want to know how long it will take. Unfortunately, there are no hard and fast answers to this question.
The alcohol withdrawal timeframe is going to be different for everyone. You may find that you feel much better within just a few days. Or, it’s possible that it takes you as long as 10 days to feel more like yourself. You may be able to find an alcohol withdrawal timeline chart online that can give you a guideline. Still, even that is not going to be 100% accurate.
Regardless of how long it takes to detox from alcohol, the most important thing is that you do it. It will be much easier on you physically and emotionally to go through it in a detox program.
There are some individuals who are at risk of experiencing alcohol withdrawal syndrome. This is much more serious than going through any of the above symptoms. AWS can be life threatening, and it requires immediate medical help.
This condition is characterized by the onset of DTs, or delirium tremens. You could be at a greater risk for this if you:
If you stop drinking and don’t get enough food, you could also be at risk for the DTs. According to the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, DTs occur in 10% of cases. As many as 25% of people who are diagnosed with this condition won’t survive it.
If you do develop DTs, you can expect to experience many of the following symptoms:
Typically, DTs will begin within the first 48 hours after your last drink. However, this isn’t always the way it works. There have been cases when the condition developed as long as 10 days later.
There are many different ways that you can go through the detoxification process. It’s important for you to choose the method that you feel will work best for you. A professional can give you more information on the different options and help you decide.
Going to an inpatient detox facility for alcoholism has become the most common way of detoxing. This is because you’re able to be monitored very closely while you’re there. It’s much less strict than a hospital setting. There are even some that feel more like a luxury spa experience than a detox program.
Usually when people opt for this method, they are able to stay for alcohol or drug rehab afterwards. However, this isn’t always what they choose to do. It is possible to move into an outpatient alcohol rehab once detox is over. For many people, this is a better option for them.
When someone suffers from severe alcoholism, a residential detoxification program may be recommended. These long-term facilities are set up to treat people who have been alcoholics for a long time. It’s possible that they’re considered more high risk, or that they’ve failed at other recovery attempts in the past.
The alcohol detox time within these types of facilities may take a little bit longer. Once they’re finished detoxing, patients will usually stay for rehab. They’re able to remain in this facility for several months, if need be.
Hospital detoxification programs aren’t quite as popular as they once were. However, they still exist due to the number of people who with alcohol poisoning. If you binge drink and it goes too far, this is a very real consequence.
These programs are good, but most people who experienced them feel that they’re not really ideal. You are closely monitored, and you may be given medications to help you through withdrawal. However, you won’t be able to have visitors during your stay. Also, it isn’t a full spectrum treatment program. You go through detox and then you’re often released. While hospital staff may try to work with you to move onto rehab, it isn’t always effective.
It is very difficult to find withdrawal treatment for alcohol on an outpatient basis. There are a number of reasons why this is the case. For many people, the temptation to drink is just too great. They need to be in a place where they’re away from the risk of relapsing. Also, in the event of an emergency that occurs when you’re home, you may not be able to get help. The DTs can begin without much warning, and if you’re alone, they could become fatal.
Perhaps you’ve done some research online and found many home remedies for alcoholism withdrawal. You can find everything from alcohol withdrawal vitamins to detox drinks, supplements, and so much more. These programs all seem to be too good to be true. Websites are filled with testimonials from people who swear by their effectiveness.
Detoxing from alcohol at home is not recommended, regardless of what treatments you’re using. It is not safe, even if you think you know exactly how your body will respond. When you stop drinking, anything could happen. You could be risking your life if you try to quit on your own at home. Natural alcohol detox remedies might seem like a good idea, but they’re not.
You’ll find that there are a lot of different ways to approach you treatment when you go to alcohol detox. Every facility is going to be different. However, your personal needs will be taken into consideration. What would be right for you might differ from what will work for someone else.
Even so, there are two main approaches to treating alcoholism in a detox program. There is a medical detox approach and a holistic approach. More often than not, the two are combined.
There are several medications on the market that have been approved to help with the withdrawal symptoms of alcohol. These alcohol detox drugs work very well, but you should know that they can come with some risks.
For someone who has a history of addiction, it is possible for you to form an addiction to them as well. This is why you’ll only take them for a short period of time.
Some of the more common medications typically prescribed for alcohol withdrawal include:
The goal will be to control your symptoms and make you as comfortable as possible. You may find that the medications you’re given don’t take your symptoms away completely. However, they will make them more bearable for you.
When you go through the detoxification process, you’ll be focusing on processing toxins from your body. This can take some time, but there are things you can do to speed it up.
The food you eat is so important to your overall health and well being. You’ll probably talk with a nutritionist about ways to improve your diet. When you give your body the food (fuel) it needs, it will function at a higher level. This means it will detox more efficiently.
Also, your body will process toxins through your sweat glands. This is why physical exercise is often such an important part of detoxing alcohol. You may be given a vigorous program to follow, and this will contribute to your overall health too.
You should definitely plan to be there for about a week. However, again, this can vary. If you’re feeling better sooner, you may be discharged to begin rehab. Every effort will be made to personalize your treatment so that you get exactly what you need.
If you’re a drug addict, going to a drug detox facility in Issaquah is a wise decision for you. This is not something that you should think of as an extra, unnecessary step. For many people, detoxing is essential. Without it, their odds of recovering from drug addiction are quite small.
Once you finish alcohol detox, the next step will be to address the psychological side of your alcoholism. Detoxification works by helping with the physical side only. You still need to find out the reasons behind why you drink. This will be accomplished when you go to alcohol rehab.
Alcohol rehab can look different for everyone. Sometimes people choose to remain in an inpatient facility. Other times, people opt for outpatient treatment. The best options for you will be discussed with you before you begin.
When you go to detox, you’re preparing to address the physical side of your addiction. This is the part of you that experiences cravings for your drug of choice. Detoxing works because it helps you get through those cravings. Eventually, the cravings dissipate and your body is clean from the substance.
When you arrive, everything about the program will be explained to you. The staff will talk with you about what you can expect. Your treatment will begin soon after your arrival. You may find that the program you’ve chosen is quite social. You’ll get the chance to talk with other patients and get to know them. You’ll be quite busy while you’re getting your treatment.
You need to go through detox because the withdrawals you experience can be quite severe.
For many people, these symptoms can easily cause them to relapse. This is something you want to avoid.
There are many symptoms that can be considered typical for most people who stop using drugs. Others may differ, based on the type of substance you’re currently using. Some of the more common ones include:
It is possible for the symptoms of withdrawal to become much more severe in some people. This can occur because someone has been using for a long time. It can also happen in those who have been using more than one drug. These individuals might experience:
Yes, when you experience withdrawal symptoms, they usually occur in stages. It’s rare for them to begin all at once, although this can happen with some of the more potent drugs.
In general, you can probably expect the various stages to look like this:
It is possible with some types of drugs for symptoms to reappear after some time has passed. Your doctor will advise you about what you can expect, depending on your drug of choice. For instance, sometimes people will have rebounding opioid withdrawal symptoms several years later.
The goal of detoxing from drugs is going to be to purge toxins from your system. As you probably know, your liver and kidneys will be working hard to do this. However, there are many things that can be done to speed up the process.
If you’re like most drug addicts, you’re probably not in the best of health. It’s possible that you’ve spent years using substances. This can be quite taxing on your system. When you go through drug detox, you’re improving the health of your body. This will allow the process to take place the way that it should.
The other goal is going to be to control the severity of your symptoms. It is very difficult to cope once you stop using. However, with the right kind of support, you can do it, and remain pretty comfortable in the process.
Every day, there are countless searches online on how to do a drug detox at home. You may have researched this as well. While it is possible to do them, and many people do, that doesn’t mean that they’re necessarily safe.
You can find all kinds of products at your local pharmacy that claim to help. They sell drug detox pills and cleanses. There are many types of products that you can choose from. All of these promise to provide miraculous results. If this is something you are considering, you should definitely proceed with caution.
There are currently no at-home drug detox products that have been approved by the FDA. This means that you’re taking great risks if you attempt to quit using by trying them.
The answer to this question is going to depend. Sometimes people suffer through a few difficult days, and then they’re successful at quitting. However, there are others who end up suffering from fatal relapses after at-home detox attempts.
You could be at risk for a relapse if you:
In short, there are so many risks involved with trying to quit on your own. This includes extreme case like suffering from heart problems or seizures. The best way to stop is by going through an Issaquah drug detox first.
Drug withdrawal treatments are all very different. Your doctor will tailor yours to meet your unique needs during detox. There are some treatments that are considered to be more typical than others.
When you go to drug detox, many factors will be taken into account. The medical staff will use these factors to create your treatment plan. You should expect to experience some combination of the following forms of care.
Holistic detoxification is a method that is being used more and more. The idea is that the body can be brought into a state where it is able to detox itself naturally. If this is prescribed for you, you won’t take any additional medications. However, if your addiction is to prescription drugs, you may be placed on a medical taper.
You will meet with a dietician who will assess you for your nutritional needs. You probably need to improve your diet. Most drug addicts don’t eat healthy foods, and it may have been a long time since you had a good meal. They will ensure that you’re getting all of your vitamins and nutrients.
You will also begin exercising regularly. Your pores will excrete toxins as you sweat. This will contribute to the process of detoxing drugs from your body faster.
Medications are often prescribed to drug addicts who are going through withdrawal. The risk of developing serious symptoms is often great. Therefore, you may be given drugs that will help to ward them off.
For instance, you may be prescribed:
The goal will be to only keep you on these medications for a short period of time. They will usually be stopped once you are through the detox process.
Many researchers are claiming that opioid replacement therapies are the answer to the opioid epidemic. ORT is often prescribed to people who suffer from opioid addictions. It involves giving patients medications to help with their withdrawal symptoms. However, these drugs do so much more than that.
They work by attaching themselves to the opioid receptors in the body. These are the same receptors that are affected when an opioid addict uses. Not only are withdrawal symptoms improved, but the effects of other opioids are non-existent. This means that if someone is to take an ORT drug and use Oxycodone, they won’t feel the effects.
Many patients have experienced successful recoveries because of ORT. However, this type of therapy does come with a few warnings. Patients should never be left on these medications long-term. Also, they need to be receiving therapy while they’re taking them.
Some commonly used ORT medications include:
When you’re considering going to a drug detox center in Issaquah, you need to know what your options are. You’ll find that there are many available to you.
One day detoxification centers sound like they might be the best option. It sounds great to be able to get through the process all in one day. However, these need to be approached with caution.
Sometimes the medications people are subjected to during rapid detoxes can be dangerous. This is why many states in the U.S. have started to eliminate this choice. A slower detox is much less taxing on the body.
If you have a long history of drug addiction, a residential detoxification program might be best. You may need to remain in treatment long-term. Also, if you have a history of relapsing, you may be recommended for residential detox and rehab.
When going to this facility, you’ll be able to stay for several months. During that time, you’ll go through detox and then get addiction treatment.
Inpatient detox is, by far, the most popular option for recovering addicts. They offer a lot of support for you while you’re recovering. You receive constant monitoring from staff members. That way, if there is an emergency or a complication, you can get help right away.
Most people who go through inpatient drug detox will stay for rehab. However, some do prefer to go to an outpatient rehab instead. Your options will be discussed with you before you begin.
It can be confusing when you try to figure out the best drug detox program for you. If you do a search, you’ll find that there are many to choose from. Please know that they are not all created the same. There are five centers in the Issaquah area that offer professional detox. Our facility, Imagine Bellevue, offers drug detox programs. It works in conjunction with our outpatient rehab program. This makes for an easy transition from detox to rehab.
It may be that you are a drug abuser, but you’re not addicted. You may be curious about whether you need to go through detox too. The answer to your question is that you don’t.
However, you should be aware that we are not giving you permission to keep using. At this point, you’re not considered appropriate for detox or rehab. Continuing to use puts you at risk for needing both. The best thing you could do is to stop using. To do this, you may need to talk with a therapist in Issaquah to get support.
After you go to drug detox, the next step for you will be going to drug rehab. Detoxing appropriately has helped you to get through the physical side of your addiction to drugs. Once you’ve done that, it’s time to work on the psychological side.
You may not realize it, but your addiction is very complex. After you’re no longer having withdrawals, your mind may still have the desire to use. You might be trying to self-medicate by using drugs. Drug treatment will help you understand the reasons behind your addiction. It’s a vital component for recovery.
Recovery from alcoholism is very difficult. However, that doesn’t mean it can’t be done. It’s easier when you go through an alcohol rehab in Issaquah in Washington State.
If this is the first time you’ve considered getting alcoholism treatment, there’s so much for you to learn. What you have is a disease. You need specialized care if you’re going to be successful. Fortunately, the right alcohol treatment can change everything for you.
Hopefully once you’re ready to go to an alcoholic rehab program you’ll have gone through detox first. That’s going to help you through the worst of your withdrawal symptoms. At the rehabilitation center for alcohol, you’ll be ready to work on the mental part of the addiction. You should expect this to be challenging for you as well.
Either way, you’re going to need help with your recovery. You’re going to find that you learn a lot about yourself in the weeks to come.
It might seem odd, but the fact that you have a drinking problem won’t be your sole focus. You will talk about it, of course, but you’ll spend a lot of time talking about the reasons behind it. Alcohol addictions are all very different, and there are a lot of causes for them. It’s important to identify what led to yours so that the healing process can take place.
You’re probably going to find that alcoholism addiction treatment is a lot different than what you expect. You may have envisioned a sterile environment that’s set up more like a hospital setting. The fact is that many programs actually resemble luxury alcohol rehabs. You should feel more like you’re at home, or even on vacation than in a treatment program.
It’s understandable that you might be nervous before you go to treatment for alcoholism. That’s completely normal. Your treatment plan will be explained to you in detail. You’ll know just what to expect before you even begin.
You’re going to experience moments of epiphany and begin to see that there’s hope in recovering. There will be some emotional moments when you discover new things about yourself. But you’ll also get to talk with other patients every day. You’ll participate in events together and you’ll be learning together. You’ll also have plenty of quiet time to rest, reflect and just relax.
It’s extremely common for people to try to quit drinking on their own first. This is often referred to as going cold turkey. Sometimes they make promises to their family that they’ll get help if they fail. Quite often, they don’t follow through on that promise.
It can be dangerous for you to try to quit drinking on your own. You need the help that a rehab for alcohol offers. This is mostly because the problem lies in more than in just your drinking. The key is finding out why you’re drinking. Unless you do that, it’s unlikely that you will never stop. Typically, this requires a professional’s help.
It’s possible that alcohol abuse is a big part of your life, but you’re not an alcoholic. You don’t feel as though you need to drink, but you do it. You do it frequently and excessively. If you’re not an alcoholic, you don’t need to consider preparing for rehab. However, that doesn’t mean that you can just ignore the problem.
Everyone who considers themselves to be an alcoholic started off with abusing alcohol. They might take part in binge drinking every single weekend. Or, it’s possible that they just drink too much on occasion throughout the week. If you don’t do something about it right away, you could develop alcoholism. Counseling is probably the best step for you to take.
Talking with a therapist can help you get to the bottom of your reasons for drinking too much. A therapist can also assist you with finding other ways to cope with your problems.
It’s normal to be confused about whether or not rehab is the right step for you to take. Maybe you’re not sure if you’re an alcoholic or not. This is also quite common. You may know that you have a drinking problem, but you still feel very in control of your life. You could be a functional alcoholic. Even so, you need to know for sure.
You might want to start by looking for some of the more typical signs that indicate you are an alcoholic. If you notice any of them in your life, it’s possible that you have a serious problem.
Alcohol dependence is different from being addicted to alcohol. It’s actually the step that comes right after alcohol abuse. You could be dependent upon alcohol if you don’t get drunk on the same amount that you used to. Also, if you’re starting to go through mild withdrawal, this could be a sign as well.
When you’re dependent upon alcohol, you do feel like you need it to get through the day. It’s actually a very brief period in the lives of those who eventually do develop alcoholism.
If you think you are an alcoholic, there are several alcoholism symptoms that you should look for. They include:
It’s very common for loved ones to be able to recognize the symptoms of alcoholism before the alcoholic does. You may have had friends or family encouraging you to get into treatment. If so, you should take that as an indication that it’s time to get help.
If you’re still not sure after looking at this list of symptoms, try taking an alcoholism quiz. That will dig a little deeper into the issue, and it may give you some more concrete answers.

Sometimes inpatient alcohol rehabs are considered to be the “gold standard” of recovery. They are good, but again, they’re not right for everyone.
At an inpatient facility, patients generally remain there for a month or so. There may be some that last longer, depending on their patients’ needs. While you’re there, you’ll go through the detoxification process. Once that is completed, you’ll participate in various types of counseling. There will be activities to participate in, and you’ll learn a lot about your addiction.
Another, similar type of facility is long-term alcohol rehab. Sometimes it’s necessary for patients to get care that lasts longer than 30 days. In fact, some individuals may need to remain in rehab for as long as 6 months. Long-term rehabs offer them the type of support they need.
Outpatient alcohol treatment programs are also very good. Some are designed more for those who have been through a higher level of care in the past. Others are geared more toward providing treatment that’s similar to what is experienced inpatient programs.

During IOP, you’ll be able to live at home, but you still attend appointments frequently. You may go as much as five times per week. People appreciate IOPs because they’re so flexible. Many of these programs are held during the evening hours.
Day treatment programs are another type of outpatient rehab. These take place during the day, and they may run as long as 8 hours. If outpatient treatment is something you’re interested in, your options will be discussed with you.

You’ll meet with your therapist on a regular basis. One of their goals will be to determine if you’re suffering from a co-occurring disorder. These are conditions that frequently contribute to addictions. This type of addiction is complex as you have to treat a mental disorder and addiction to a substance at the same time. Once they determine if you have this type of disorder, you’ll be treated appropriately.
When you go to any center for drug rehab, group therapy will be a main component. You’ll probably be a part of various groups that cover different subjects. Most drug rehab centers are 12 Step-centered. This support group will be very important for you.
Your family members are your biggest support system. It’s possible that your relationship with them has been harmed because of your addiction. This treatment will help to heal those important relationships in your life.
The food you eat plays a major role in your recovery from addiction. You may be asked to talk with a nutritionist about your dietary needs.
There are so many different options that could be added. Equine therapy, Yoga and art therapy are all usually a part of recovery.
You may find it challenging to find a drug addiction treatment center that you feel will work. You’re going to see that there are so many. It nearly seems impossible for you to choose. It helps if you know what you should be looking for.
You’re going to see that while drug addiction rehab programs often look the same, they’re not. Many offer different services and levels of quality. You deserve a high commitment to excellence. That is truly the only way you’re going to be successful.
Rehabilitation programs come in all shapes and sizes. The right one for you really just depends on what you need. Some people do really well in inpatient addiction treatment centers. Others prefer outpatient addiction rehabs.
There really is no “right” decision. It all depends on what will work the best for you. Let’s talk about what each of them are in more detail.
Outpatient rehab programs are becoming more and more popular. Today, many of them offer services that have never been offered before. If your addiction is mild or fairly new, you might do well to attend a traditional outpatient center. This might also work well for you if you’ve previously completed an inpatient program elsewhere.
Most people find that intensive outpatient treatment is more along the lines of what they need. This type of care provides additional support because you have more frequent appointments. It’s also flexible, which means you can continue to go to work or school.
Most people think of inpatient treatment facilities when they think of drug rehab. This is generally the most well known method of recovering from addiction.
When you become a patient at an inpatient rehab program, you’ll go to treatment for about 30 days. This type of recovery program is very effective.
Residential rehab centers offer help for addicts who need long-term care. Maybe you’ve relapsed many times in the past, and there is a concern for your safety. It’s possible that you have a poor home environment and you’re not able to return there. Regardless of what your situation is, a residential facility is there to help you.
During your stay, you’ll be able to go through detox and rehab. Some programs offer their own in-house services. Others are more like sober living homes. These require their patients to obtain their own outpatient treatment. Usually, IOP is recommended in these cases.
For many people, residential treatment is the answer to their worries. You can stay for a very long time; even as long as six months in some instances. Before you’re discharged, you’ll also have help setting up your follow up care.
You may know that you’re not addicted, but abusing substances is still a problem for you. You’re wondering if you need substance abuse treatment. The answer is yes, but you don’t need to go to rehab to get help.
You can find centers for drug abuse right in your own community in Issaquah. Area community centers may offer support groups and even one on one counseling. You should also speak with your medical doctor. It’s important not to ignore this vital resource you have available to you. They may offer you a referral to a program that can be of assistance to you.
Also, some therapists offer drug abuse programs directly through their offices. Counseling is going to be critical because you need to understand why you feel the need to use.
Regardless of what you decide to do, please get some type of help. Pretending you don’t have a problem is very dangerous, and it is likely to lead to addiction eventually.
How much drug addiction treatment costs can be based on a few things. The most expensive option is an inpatient or residential rehab program.
How long you stay also has an impact on the final price. Some programs offer luxurious options such as an on site spa, gym, pool, and executive chef. A standard inpatient rehab offers high quality services where you’ll usually share a room with one other patient.
The type of drug treatment you need is going to vary from what someone else needs. That makes it hard to say exactly what you can expect to pay to get help. If you need drug detox services, that may cost as much as $5,000. When you go to rehab, it could be an additional $10,000 or more.
These numbers cause a lot of people to stop researching drug treatment, and that’s understandable. However, you should know that most people can’t afford to pay this themselves.
Again, you should rely upon your insurance to help cover the cost of rehab. If you don’t have health insurance, you can apply at HealthCare.gov. They will be able to help you find a policy that you can afford.
At Northpoint Seattle, we have a wide network of insurance companies we work with. They include:

Yes, you can find free rehab programs for drug addiction in Issaquah. There are also grants designated for this purpose, just like for those who need alcohol treatment. Simply contact a program to inquire about it. They’ll guide you in the right direction.

Do you notice any of these in yourself? If you’re not sure, ask a trusted friend for their honest opinion. You can also take a drug addiction quiz to learn more about your relationship with drugs.
